Qualifications

• Around 10+ years of building software professionally, including staff or technical lead experience.
• Deep hands-on React and TypeScript, including client-side routing, browser history, and state management.
• Full stack background with strong frontend and production readiness.
• Practical experience applying WCAG 2.1 AA to real interfaces, including keyboard support and ARIA.
• Experience designing APIs with backend colleagues, feature flags, gradual rollouts, and monitoring.
• Track record of technical leadership, with design docs and mentoring.
• Collaborative, low-ego style with clear reasoning and early concerns raised with options.

Responsibilities

• Shape architecture for moving Online Booking and My Account to React.
• Write code weekly across React, TypeScript, and Rails; set patterns for the team.
• Mentor developers and grow team members through pairing and reviews.
• Partner with Design on the component library to close gaps in the booking experience.
• Coordinate with teams to migrate pages to React on staged timelines.
• Drive safe, gradual rollouts with feature flags and monitoring.
• Apply AI thoughtfully to speed migrations and maintain quality.
