Join to apply for the Staff Developer Advocate, AI/ML role at DigitalOcean.

As a Developer Advocate, you will inspire and equip software developers to build with DigitalOcean as part of the Developer Advocacy team under the broader Developer Relations organization. This role primarily focuses on our AI capabilities, ranging from bare metal GPUs to our GenAI stack. You will drive developer awareness and adoption of our AI products.

Responsibilities

1. Create content that inspires and equips developers to build with DigitalOcean, including tutorials, videos, and in-person events.
2. Write open-source code that helps developers succeed with DigitalOcean's platform.
3. Provide feedback to Product teams based on your experience and community insights to improve developer experience.
4. Collaborate with Social, Community, and Content teams, offering AI/ML expertise when needed.
5. Plan and scale developer relations efforts through videos, events, and workshops.

Qualifications

• Background in machine learning and statistics.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
• Experience in creating high-quality, public technical content like videos, articles, or publications.
• Self-motivated, empathetic, and dedicated to serving developers and colleagues.
