Job summary

Lightning AI, the company behind PyTorch Lightning, seeks a Staff Developer Advocate to be a technical champion for AI builders. You will bridge engineering and the AI builder community to drive awareness, education, and adoption through multi-channel, high-quality content and events.

You will report to the CMO and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to advocate for developer feedback, influence roadmaps, and strengthen the developer experience across global communities.

Qualifications

10+ years in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Solutions Engineering, or Software Engineering in AI/ML and infrastructure.
Deep hands-on expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow and modern AI/ML frameworks.
Outstanding public speaking and technical storytelling skills with international audiences.
Experience evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

Create high-impact technical content: tutorials, code samples, blogs, and reference architectures.
Increase awareness through talks, workshops, hackathons, and conferences.
Champion customer voice to product/engineering, influencing roadmaps and DX.
Attend events and media appearances to build credibility.
Mentor junior devrel and community managers.
Establish AI-native testing and experimentation across channels.
