Job summary

Lyft seeks a Staff Design Program Manager for the Global Growth organization. You will own roadmap and execution for end-to-end design projects, partnering across design, engineering, marketing, legal, and product to shape workflows and manage delivery.

You’ll drive visibility into project health and team priorities for design leadership, balancing inputs across cross-functional teams. You are a strategic thinker who can handle ambiguity, lead planning sessions, and bring AI fluency to PM work,

Qualifications

• 7+ years in design program management or related design industry role.
• Ability to drive complex cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and how they change design teams.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap and execution for projects end-to-end.
• Drive program management for the Global Growth design team.
• Shape and document workflows and processes that make the team faster and more effective.
• Partner with design, engineering, marketing, legal, and product to scope work, set timelines, and manage delivery.
• Build and maintain visibility into project health, team utilization, and priorities for design leadership.
• Lead planning and prioritization across cross-functional teams—balancing inputs without losing sight of the goal.
• Facilitate design reviews, retros, and planning sessions.
• Bring AI fluency to program management work and adopt new tools effectively
