Job summary

Archer in San Jose seeks a senior mechanical/thermals engineer to design and validate integrated lubrication and thermal management systems. You will create CAD models and drawings, perform 1D and CFD analyses, and lead testing from concept to production in collaboration with propulsion and manufacturing teams.

The role requires 5+ years in fluid or thermal design, strong CAD skills (NX/Creo), and experience with GT-Power, AMESim, MATLAB/Simulink, StarCCM+.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
5+ years in fluid, lubrication, or thermal management design.
Experience taking systems from concept to production.
Strong CAD and 1D modeling tool experience.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of integrated thermal lubrication systems from concept to production.
Design pumps, filters, heat exchangers, relief valves, and related components.
Develop system architectures for optimized thermal management and lubrication.
Create CAD models, drawings, and system specifications.
Perform 1D modeling and CFD analyses and validate performance.
Collaborate with manufacturing and propulsion teams and support testing.
