Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Database Reliability Engineer or related role.
• In-depth expertise with MySQL, MariaDB, Galera, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Vertica and related technologies.
• Experience deploying and operating databases at scale in containerized (Kubernetes) and bare metal environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across multiple data domains and collaborate with product, operations, infrastructure, and platform engineering.
• Architect and optimize relational data structures for performance, scale, and continuity.
• Develop robust operational processes for stability, monitoring, and maintenance of databases.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
