Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent professional experience in a quantitative field.
• 7+ years in data science or ML with NLP, entity resolution, or information extraction.
• Experience in AML, sanctions screening, or financial crime detection preferred.
• Hands-on NLP pipelines for extraction and record linkage at production scale.

Responsibilities

• Scale watchlist matching capabilities and NLP pipelines for NER and information extraction.
• Benchmark and evaluate data quality to ensure high-fidelity inputs for models.
• Develop NLP systems for normalization, alias resolution, and canonical profiles.
• Extend multilingual capabilities for global screening across scripts.
• Build multi-signal risk scores combining name similarity, geography, and list types.
• Maintain benchmarking datasets, regression tests, and screening thresholds.
