Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to own pricing experimentation and strategy for Consumer & Business products. You will design pricing tests, build models to identify optimal strategies, and communicate findings to executives and cross-functional leaders.

You will work with Product, Engineering, and Design to turn deep analytical expertise into decisions that move the bottom line. The role requires 8+ years in data science, with leadership in pricing or experimentation, and

Qualifications

PhD preferred or Master's in Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
8+ years in data science with focus on pricing experimentation and causal inference.
5+ years leading pricing or experimentation workstreams and A/B tests.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end pricing experimentation, from test design through analysis and recommendation.
Build and refine pricing models and evaluation frameworks for optimal pricing across consumer products.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance to develop pricing vision, roadmap and priorities.
Develop data pipelines and models powering pricing analytics with production-grade craftsmanship.
