This role requires a real interest in the marketing bidding universe and the ability to work with a lot of ambiguity. You will go deep into each channel, understand its bidding and optimization behavior, and derive data driven solutions to increase each channel’s ROI through bidding, audience and creative optimization. Marketing brings the business questions, you define the success metrics and the modeling approach to answer them. A lot of this is untapped territory and there is nothing off the shelf to buy, so inventing the approach and convincing your stakeholders of it is a big part of the job.
