HighLevel in the United States is seeking a Staff Data Scientist, Growth & Expansion to own the customer growth outcome across onboarding, activation, and expansion. You will connect Growth, GTM, Finance, and product teams with a rigorous, segment-level understanding of what turns a new account into a growing, multi-product customer in a B2B2C model.

This broad, cross-functional role advises Growth, GTM, and Finance leaders and sets growth‑measurement standards that analysts on adjacent teams

Qualifications

• 9+ years in product/growth analytics, data science, or applied statistics.
• Strong ability to design analyses addressing causal questions and understand failure modes of correlational reads.
• Fluency in experimentation design, power calculations, and guardrails.
• Experience turning behavioral and revenue data into segment-level insights that influenced product/GTM decisions.
• Comfort with imperfect, in-progress data and using governed sources.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer-growth outcome end to end across onboarding, activation, TTP, multi-product adoption, and expansion.
• Identify early and mid lifecycle signals that predict expansion and prioritize growth initiatives.
• Connect product signals to GTM/marketing spend and align with Finance growth targets.
• Model a B2B2C dynamic with agencies and sub-accounts to surface where value compounds or declines.
• Lead design and read growth experiments with a clear, causal bar; set growth measurement standards across teams.
• Collaborate with Product Strategy & Growth on churn/upsell charters and shared definitions.
• Set the technical direction for company-wide growth metrics, segment definitions, and data models.
• Build reusable growth-measurement frameworks for Analysts and DS teams.
