Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff Data Scientist for its Credit Karma Engagement team in Charlotte to lead analytics across the subscription lifecycle. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to drive decision-making with rigorous ML and causal analyses.

You will design experiments, build segmentation, and mentor peers while shaping the AI-native roadmap and measuring business impact in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data science with product impact, esp. subscriptions or lifecycle-based products.
• Translate ambiguous questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Experience designing and interpreting experiments with causal inference when testing is limited.
• Strong segmentation and balancing statistical rigor with business needs.
• Exposure to ML to inform business decisions; implementable offline models.
• Contribute to reusable analytical frameworks and shared tools.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders across business and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics strategy for Subscriptions from trial to renewal.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Design to shape roadmaps.
• Apply ML and causal inference to churn, renewal, pricing experiments.
• Design and run experiments to measure impact on member outcomes.
• Build member segmentation to improve targeting and offers.
• Shape AI-native roadmap and measure model impact on business.
• Mentor data scientists and support hiring and calibration.
