Job summary

Intuit's Credit Karma Engagement team seeks a Staff Data Scientist to lead analytics for the Subscriptions product lifecycle. You will partner with Product and Engineering to drive data-informed decisions from trial to renewal, applying ML and causal inference to optimize churn and pricing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data science experience, preferably in product or lifecycle-based domains.
• Translate ambiguous product questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Experience designing and interpreting experiments with causal inference when testing is constrained.
• Strong customer segmentation and experimentation design with business context.
• Exposure to lightweight ML to inform business decisions.
• Contribute to reusable analytical frameworks and tooling for the team.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders across product and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Define analytics strategy for Subscriptions across the member journey from trial to renewal.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to shape roadmap and prioritization.
• Apply ML and causal inference to churn, renewal optimization, pricing, and packaging experiments.
• Design and run experiments (A/B/n, quasi-experimental) to measure impact.
• Build segmentation to improve targeting and offers.
• Contribute to AI-native roadmap and measure model impact on outcomes.
• Mentor other data scientists and assist with hiring and calibration.
