Bitsight seeks a Staff Data Scientist to research, develop, and deploy predictive cybersecurity risk models. You will refine security ratings and risk vectors, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and translate complex analytics into scalable production systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong statistics and ML background, interest in risk assessment, and hands-on experience with large diverse data sources and AI-assisted development tools.

Formación

• MS degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Applied Math, CS, Physics, Engineering)
• 1+ year of industry staff-level experience
• Experience modeling risk for rare events is desirable
• Proficiency with Git, Python/R, SQL; SDLC and data tooling; shell scripting; big data stacks; ML and model validation; data visualization and reporting tools; AWS; ability to combine large disparate data sources; familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools

Responsabilidades

• Research and develop statistical and ML methodologies for cybersecurity risk assessment and prediction.
• Maintain and enhance Security Ratings and Risk Vector scoring methodologies with accuracy and explainability.
• Explore data sources to improve models and develop new capabilities.
• Apply emerging AI/ML techniques to solve cybersecurity problems.
• Develop scalable, well-documented data science code and pipelines.
• Monitor model performance, investigate anomalies, and drive improvements.
• Communicate complex concepts and contribute to internal and customer-facing documentation.
• Anticipate product-level technical issues and guide design decisions.
