Socure is seeking a Staff Data Scientist with deep expertise in computer vision and machine learning to lead document verification solutions. You will guide data scientists, set technical direction, and own the full ML lifecycle from data strategy to production monitoring.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and customers to translate business needs into effective modeling strategies and ensure high-quality ML deliverables across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Proven production ML systems experience at scale.
• Strong leadership and mentoring of other data scientists.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical direction across document verification ML projects.
• Oversee end-to-end ML lifecycle including deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor data scientists through complex modeling challenges.
• Set best practices for model development and production readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customers to align modeling strategies.
• Communicate model performance and decisions clearly to stakeholders.
