Job summary

IntusCare is seeking a Staff Software/Data Engineer to own the ELT platform's technical direction, leveraging Airbyte, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow. You will translate complex problems into scalable designs, mentor engineers, and raise the team’s standards while working in a remote-first environment.

The role requires 7+ years in software or data engineering, strong SQL and Python, and HIPAA-aware data handling. Compensation is competitive for a US remote position.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software/data engineering with leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in SQL and Python.
• Experience with Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake or comparable cloud warehouses.
• HIPAA-compliant data handling or healthcare analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the ELT platform strategy and road-map across multiple quarters.
• Write design documents and set coding/review standards.
• Mentor engineers and raise the team's technical bar.
• Collaborate with product and leadership to translate goals into architecture.
