Job summary

Render is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to lead the data platform engineering, shape the technical direction, and drive reliable pipelines and analytics across the organization.

As a hands‑on technical leader, you will mentor engineers, partner with analytics, data science, and product teams, own warehouse reliability, orchestration, and cloud services, and help translate evolving needs into scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Deep expertise in modern cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake).
• Strong Python and SQL skills with reliable ingestion and ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own Data Platform Engineering architecture and platform roadmap.
• Build and operate trusted data pipelines and orchestration.
• Own warehouse reliability, performance, and access (BigQuery, dbt).
• Develop cloud services and APIs, with infrastructure as code.
• Mentor data engineers and grow the team’s capabilities.
