Job summary

Airwallex in Seattle is seeking a high level architect (staff engineer) to oversee the strategy, architecture, development, and operation of our data and AI platforms. You will influence data-driven and AI-powered decision-making across the business and guide the team toward technical excellence.

You will mentor the data platform team, promote best practices, and drive a culture of rapid delivery and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in Data Platform or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading company-wide initiatives across multiple teams.
• Effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Balance execution with in-depth research and scalable design.
• Mentoring and investing in the development of scientists and engineers.
• Experience leading ETL frameworks, metrics stores, infrastructure, and data security.
