Job summary
Outcomes® is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Orlando team as a hands-on leader and full-stack developer. You will design, develop, and lead the implementation of scalable software across all layers, collaborating with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable healthcare-focused systems.
You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and establish best practices for testing, security, and performance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development and technical leadership experience.
- Proven ability to design scalable, secure distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and healthcare domain considerations.
- Strong mentoring and team leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality software features and components for complex software solutions.
- Lead sizing and complexity evaluation discussions for initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex software and performance issues and drive root-cause analysis.
- Define and implement QA processes including TDD/BDD and code reviews.
- Advise on cloud services and build CI/CD pipelines with IaC (Terraform) and monitoring.
- Lead operational activities including on-call support and incident response.
