Job summary

Qualifications
- 7+ years in data engineering, software engineering, or data platform development.
- 5+ years designing enterprise-scale data platforms and distributed systems.
- Experience with UniVerse or UniData operational databases.
- Proficiency in CDC, replication tech and near real-time data movement.
- Strong Python and SQL development skills.
- Experience with production ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Linux/Unix environments experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a near real-time transactional cache platform.
- Design CDC pipelines migrating data from UniVerse into PostgreSQL.
- Develop transformation pipelines to MongoDB document structures.
- Optimize PostgreSQL and MongoDB performance with indexing and tuning.
- Own platform reliability, observability, and incident response.
- Develop runbooks, dashboards, and monitoring for production caches.
- Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards for CDC and cloud-native data platforms.
