Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in data engineering or data platform roles.
• Experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional technical projects.
• Cloud data infrastructure experience with AWS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the architectural design and evolution of the data platform and roadmap.
• Shape the technical strategy for large-scale platform enhancements.
• Collaborate across data, platform, and security teams to ensure a cohesive architecture.
• Create architectural artifacts like design docs, threat models, and specs.
• Mentor and uplift the Data Engineering team through coaching and code reviews.
• Implement core components of the new architecture and model best practices.
