Job summary

AMD seeks a Staff Data Engineer in the Marketing Analytics team to build scalable data pipelines and trusted datasets that enable ML and analytics across marketing. You’ll lead data ingestion, modeling, and dataset design while partnering with data scientists and marketing stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You will mentor engineers, enforce data quality and observability, and drive best practices in data engineering and MLOps in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python; production-grade data pipelines.
• Experience with Snowflake and Databricks for data modeling and deployment.
• Experience with Spark or PySpark.
• Ability to design canonical data models and reusable data products.
• Experience with API integrations and data ingestion pipelines.
• Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, and workflow orchestration.
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering; master preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate scalable marketing data pipelines in Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable cloud environments.
• Develop reusable API integrations to bring CRM, marketing automation, analytics data.
• Design canonical datasets with consistent definitions, relationships, and historical views.
• Engineer datasets for ML/DS with features and point-in-time logic.
• Lead engineering delivery, review designs, mentor engineers, and improve release practices.
• Establish data quality, observability, and pipeline reliability.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Sales Ops, and IT on data requirements.
