Job summary

Juniper Square is building a next-generation intelligent data platform for private markets. As a Staff Software Engineer, Data, you will own the design and hands-on delivery of core pipeline components including schema mapping, normalization, validation, enrichment, and distribution to downstream systems.

You will work with AI-assisted development, set technical standards, mentor engineers, and help scale the platform for institutional clients using AWS and Redshift.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with staff-level scope and impact.
• Portfolio of shipped production systems with hands-on coding.
• Strong data pipeline / data warehouse engineering experience (ETL/ELT, normalization).
• Production experience with LLMs, prompt design, model orchestration, evaluation.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development workflows and ability to evaluate AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of core data platform components (data normalization, schema mapping, validation, enrichment, distribution).
• Write production code as a hands-on contributor and architect components for reliability and performance.
• Define end-to-end architecture for an AI-native data warehouse serving institutional clients.
• Build AI evaluation infrastructure and tooling for trustworthy outputs.
• Set coding standards and documentation to scale with the team growth.
