Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of data engineering experience with Python, PySpark, Spark, SQL, DataBricks, AWS, Elastic Search, Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Understand functional requirements, design technical specs, code and test features.
• Size medium to large work items and manage timelines and deliveries.
• Design software using data engineering technologies and pipelines.
• Spend 90% of time hands-on designing, coding, testing, and supporting production systems.
• Resolve defects across testing, pre-prod, prod, and post-release patches.
• Collaborate with product management, other engineering teams, and business units.
• Apply Agile, SCRUM, or XP methodologies.
• Model data, build data warehouses, and construct ETL pipelines.
• Provide production support via quarterly on-call rotations.
