The Role

We are seeking an expert Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain an Enterprise-wide Big Data and Data Analytics Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Hadoop Big Data platform components such as HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, HBase, Hive, and Spark.
• Support data lakes on-premises and in the cloud (e.g., ADLS).
• Ensure data integrity and security across big data platforms.
• Perform patching, vulnerability management, and enforce security best practices.
• Support enterprise data warehousing using Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, and Databricks Lakehouse.
• Develop ETL pipelines with SSIS, Databricks, Apache Airflow, etc.
• Collaborate with technical teams to adopt new technologies for application and infrastructure enhancement.
• Manage cloud subscriptions across Azure, GCP, and AWS.

Preferred Experience

• Hands‑on Hadoop and other big data platforms.
• ETL development for Enterprise BI, including SSIS, SSAS, and Reporting Services.
• Experience with on‑prem and cloud big data solutions.
• Cloud subscription management and scripting (Python, SQL, PowerShell).
• Database experience with Postgres, MS SQL, MongoDB, and reporting services.
• Understanding of enterprise application development platforms.
• Application performance monitoring and load testing skillset.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Clear technical documentation writing.

Academic Credentials

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (strongly preferred).
