Job summary

Upstart is seeking a Staff Data Analyst for the Servicing Analytics team to influence recoveries and collections strategy, partnering with product, operations, engineering and ML teams to drive understanding, insights, and data infrastructure.

You'll build BI pipelines, run A/B tests, and communicate findings to senior leadership while mentoring teammates and shaping data-driven decision-making across servicing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in senior analytical roles in technology/finance
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL, Python and/or R
• Experience with large datasets, data pipelines and data modeling

Responsibilities

• Lead development of analytics capabilities for servicing initiatives and drive efficiency improvements
• Create executive-level presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
• Design experiments and conduct quantitative analysis to test hypotheses about users and servicing initiatives
• Collaborate with analytics and software engineering to up‑level servicing data capabilities
