Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher required; 13+ years of relevant experience (or 11+ years with a Master's)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FAR/DFARS and contract types
  • Strong proposal development and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • Experience with technical data packages and data rights
  • Active Secret security clearance required (recent within 5 years)

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues and monitor obligations
  • Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, administration and customer contact activities
  • Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters to ensure compliance
  • Review terms and conditions to assess financial provisions, delivery, IP, termination, indemnification, etc.
  • Prepare and manage written communications for contractual matters
  • Ensure timely delivery of contractual deliverables and data requests
  • Manage contract changes and maintain historical records

As a Staff Contracts Administrator, you will be the pivotal linchpin that transforms opportunity into agreement, driving program success and opening new growth avenues. Working side-by-side with the program management team, you will ensure every contract is executed efficiently and effectively, safeguarding both company and customer interests. This Subject Matter Expert role is integral to our program and division operations, while providing lead support to the rest of the team. This full-time, on-site position is based at in Melbourne, FL.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues; Monitor contract and associated program to ensure contractual obligations are communicated and understood.
  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment per company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Work to develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs.
  • Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification, and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and submitting invoices, proposals, and data calls.
  • Ensure contract requirements are fulfilled, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 13+ years of relevant directly related experience, or Master's degree and 11+ years of directly relevant experience.
  • Strong technical acumen in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe
  • In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS and demonstrated experience with different contract types.
  • Must have capable & effective proposal development skills, excellent negotiation skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have experience in technical data packages and data rights.
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance, with the most recent periodic investigation completed in the last 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry
  • Experience in Larger Complex Proposals
  • Extensive DoD Contracting experience with USG and Prime customers
  • Experience working restricted programs, proven ability to work in closed program areas.

Primary Level Salary Range: $126,400.00 - $189,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
