Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to design and lead the Cloud Threat Detection Platform. You will architect high-throughput pipelines, submission engines, and secure AWS infrastructure while building modern web interfaces for analysts.

You will work across execution engines, cloud APIs, and AI-assisted development Tools, ensuring resilience and FedRAMP-aligned security in multi-region environments. This hybrid role offers office access in Frisco, TX and remote options.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of professional software development experience
• Deep AWS cloud architecture knowledge for large-scale systems
• Linux proficiency and shell scripting
• Experience with high-throughput microservices and full-stack web apps
• Security, SDL practices, and FedRAMP familiarity

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Cloud Threat Detection Platform architecture
• Lead high-throughput microservices and submission pipelines
• Build modern web UIs and dashboards using React and Django
• Engineer secure AWS infrastructure with IAM, VPCs, and security groups
• Collaborate on AI tooling integration for code development and reviews
