ALSO. in Silicon Valley is seeking a Staff Security Engineer for Cloud to own security end to end in a connected, software-defined EV platform.

You will design security architecture and build it in Go alongside the backend team, handling telemetry, remote diagnostics, and fleet security. The role demands 10+ years in security across cloud and containerized environments, deep AWS and Kubernetes expertise, and hands-on Go development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in backend and infrastructure security with production ownership.
• Experience with cloud security in AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Strong threat modeling and secure architecture review experience.
• Hands-on Go development for security services.

Responsabilités

• Own cloud security end to end: strategy, architecture, implementation, and operations.
• Design and implement identity and access at scale across services.
• Harden containers and orchestration with policies and image hardening.
• Secure the software supply chain: SBOM, scanning, signed artifacts.
• Build Go-based controls: authorization, policy, and guardrails.
• Run detection and response: logging, alerting, on‑call, postmortems.
• Secure vehicle‑to‑cloud boundary: device identity and secure OTA.
• Lead assurance: pentests, vuln mgmt, evidence collection.
