Job summary

Signifyd is seeking a Staff Software Engineer I in Platform Engineering to set the long-term vision for our enterprise cloud infrastructure and AI-enabled automation. You will influence multiple engineering teams and shape how Signifyd builds, automates, and scales its core decision platform.

You will drive architectural strategy for GCP/Kubernetes, champion secure, observable systems, and lead initiatives turning AI/ML into production-ready tooling.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud networking security practices.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes in large-scale environments.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript and a track record of cross-team impact.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural strategy for integrating AI-powered tools across the platform.
• Own multi-quarter roadmap for cloud capabilities on GCP and Kubernetes.
• Set platform health standards, incident management, and on-call rotation responsibilities.
• Architect access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management as standard platform practices.
• Productize CI/CD, deployment tooling, and self-service platform services.
