Taxbit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure in the Systems, Security & Compliance organization. You will own AWS-based platforms, drive IaC, automate CI/CD, and shape AI Ops strategies.

This role emphasizes reliability, security, and collaboration with engineering and security teams. Based in Seattle, WA, the position offers a hybrid model with hands-on leadership in building scalable, cost-efficient cloud solutions and safeguarding production systems for the company

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive hands-on AWS infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proficient with CI/CD, IaC, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Own infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for reliable deployments.
• Define backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and security guardrails.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams.
• Develop AI Ops strategies for production AI-enabled systems.
