Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh's Counseling Center is seeking a clinician to join the HEART team to provide crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and clinical supervision. The role works closely with campus safety to support students with emergent behavioral health concerns and to contribute to outreach and training activities on campus.

Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s in Social Work with MSW + LCSW licensure and have the ability to train interns and staff while delivering

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work is required.
• Must hold MSW and LCSW licensure in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure.
• Experience not required but applicable clinical training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with U Pitt Police/Public Safety on crisis responses.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety planning for students.
• Assist with transport to local facilities when needed.
• Offer supervision and training to Master’s level trainees/interns.
