Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible mental health professional to provide counseling.
• Experience in college counseling or student mental health settings is preferred.
• Crisis intervention and risk assessment training.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing mental health, academic, and personal concerns.
• Conduct intake assessments, crisis intervention, and safety planning as needed.
• Develop and facilitate workshops and outreach programs that promote student wellness and resilience.
• Collaborate with faculty, residence life, and campus partners to support student success and referrals.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultation, supervision, and professional development activities.
• Contribute to initiatives that advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in counseling services.
• Support assessment and quality-improvement efforts within the Counseling Center.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice.
