Qualifications

• B.S. in Biomedical Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years in clinical development within the medical device industry.
• Fluent in medical terminology and anatomy; ability to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Development and Clinicians to define user needs for product.
• Drive product discovery and champion clinical needs within teams.
• Lead evaluation of prototypes in pre-clinical settings and develop validation plans.
• Create clinical hazard analyses and inform design mitigations.
• Develop and implement new test methods, models, and metrics for product performance.
• Oversee pre-clinical facilities and regulatory compliance.
• Support product launches with training materials and clinician support.
