Join us in supporting a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries while shaping the future of energy storage systems.
Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.
Redwood Materials is seeking an experienced Staff Civil Engineer to serve as a senior individual contributor on our internal EPC Infrastructure Engineering team. In this role, you will independently deliver civil design and engineering across our battery manufacturing, recycling, and BESS infrastructure projects — managing work through all phases from planning and design through bid and construction. You will partner closely with internal multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants to produce coordinated, code‑compliant designs that support Redwood's mission of building a sustainable circular economy for lithium‑ion batteries and battery energy storage systems.
The position is full‑time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
