  • Serve as a primary architectural liaison to Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs); develop and document permit exemption lists, lead Alternate Materials and Methods (AMM) requests and variances, and shepherd permitting processes with local officials
  • Develop architectural concepts and designs across various project types, producing detailed drawings, plans, and models using Revit and related BIM tools throughout all project phases — from concept through construction administration
  • Collaborate with design teams, leadership, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of project objectives, particularly in scope and space optimization
  • Lead design coordination by working closely with design managers on project package structures, conducting field walks, and gathering stakeholder input

  • Licensed Architect in Nevada, or currently licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction with an active NCARB Certificate and the ability to obtain Nevada licensure within six months of start
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D software, especially Revit and Bluebeam Revu; experience with Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud (Forma) preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of the IBC, IFC, and ADA, construction documentation, detailing, and various project delivery methods, with relevant experience in sectors like manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food processing, or chemical/refining strongly preferred
  • Experience with hazardous materials code application — H-occupancy classification, control area design, and MAQ analysis — is a significant differentiator
  • Experience with design-build, progressive design-build, or EPC delivery on fast-track schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large projects and teams concurrently, meeting aggressive deadlines while resolving complex design and construction challenges
  • Willingness to drive projects to completion through innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, engineers, contractors, and regulators while navigating conflicts
