Job summary

Aave Labs is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to build the backend infrastructure behind Aave App, a consumer savings product that makes onchain financial services accessible and reliable.

You will own broad backend systems, including account services, transaction orchestration, indexing, balances, and APIs for web and mobile clients, with strong emphasis on correctness, security, and operability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Production experience with Rust is highly desirable; strong systems experience in Go/Java considered.
• Experience building distributed, data-intensive systems with reliability and performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services for Aave App across onboarding, funding, savings, withdrawals, and data APIs.
