The role partners with data, AI, and product to set backend patterns, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, secure, and auditable services across cloud and on-prem deployments.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in backend forward deployment engineering with staff-level ownership.
• Strong API/service design, versioning, and backward compatibility in multi-cloud SaaS.
• Practical security engineering with authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-tenant APIs and design contracts between layers while evolving in a backward-compatible way.
• Build review, approval, and exception workflows where finance teams operate the platform.
• Maintain multi-tenant isolation, authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
• Develop and sustain the audit trail linking user-facing figures to computations and sources.
• Support multi-cloud, customer-hosted deployments with strong isolation and no data egress.
