Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and building testable, performant backend systems.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and thriving in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop distributed processing engines and databases.
• Build high-quality software with Python, MongoDB, CDC and Kafka.
• Leverage big data technologies such as Aurora, Trino, Presto, Pinot, Iceberg and Flink.
• Create data platforms, data lakes, and scalable ingestion systems.
• Design, develop and test software and user-facing experiences.
• Collaborate with architects and senior developers on cutting-edge projects.
• Contribute to product design discussions and implement production-ready solutions.
• Find unique solutions from idea to production.
