Job summary

Grafana Labs is a fully remote company building Grafana Cloud and an extensible observability platform used by thousands of organizations. We operate a backend-focused Grafana Alerting squad that scales ingestion, delivery, and evaluation of Prometheus-based alerts while collaborating with Grafana Cloud teams.

You will influence the roadmap, deliver new features end to end, and participate in open-source style collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires strong programming experience in at least one language (Go preferred).
• Experience with distributed systems or cloud-scale applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build distributed systems to scale alert ingestion and delivery of Prometheus-based alerts.
• Unify Alerting setup and delivery to work the same for Grafana and Prometheus-based alerts.
• Build distributed systems to scale alert evaluation of Grafana-managed alerts, reaching over 500 evaluations per second in production.
• Take an active role in influencing roadmap and career objectives.
• Deliver new features, iterate on results, and mentor teammates.
