Qualifications

• 8+ years building software that runs in production.
• Expert skill in backend development.
• Experience with Python and Flask-style APIs, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis on the backend.
• Shipped distributed systems using queues, caches, and search.
• Experience running software on AWS and Kubernetes at production scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical scope for bets in your product areas, including tradeoffs.
• Deliver the hardest technical work and drive quality standards.
• Shape architecture and standards used across teams.
• Mentor engineers to help them grow into larger roles.
