You will design and operate secure, high-throughput services balancing security with a smooth user experience. You will partner with product, security, fraud, and infra teams, mentor engineers, and drive complex projects from design to production, including tokens, 2FA, and edge authorization, in a remote-first environment with quarterly

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong in Go and distributed services in production.
• Experience designing secure APIs (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWTs).
• Proficient with gRPC and data stores (Redis, DynamoDB).
• Track record delivering cross-functional projects with strong communication.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and operation of auth capabilities.
• Build secure, low-latency Go/gRPC services.
• Lead technical designs for token-based auth, passkeys, device-aware auth.
• Collaborate with product, security, fraud, and infra teams.
• Mentor engineers and participate in reviews.
