Job summary

Vast in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Staff Environmental Test Engineer to support the development of systems for artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This full-time position is integral to avionic systems manufacturing for space products including liquid rocket engines and commercial space stations.

The successful candidate will work closely with design teams and quality assurance to ensure process compliance, safety, and efficiency while developing detailed manufacturing plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or avionics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design teams for manufacturability of avionics components.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for avionics systems.
• Create and maintain manufacturing plans for accurate production.
