Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff-level Manufacturing Engineer focused on industrial automation to lead automated manufacturing processes for energetic materials and related assemblies at the Elkton, MD facility. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related discipline) with extensive manufacturing automation experience.
• Experience leading automation-focused projects in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean/continuous improvement applied to automated or process-intensive operations.
• Experience applying SPC/DOE and RCCA to manufacturing processes.

Aufgaben

• Serve as technical leader for automated manufacturing of energetic materials and related assemblies, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Design and optimize automated processes and equipment layouts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop, launch, and qualify new or upgraded automated production lines, including robotics and controls integration; lead FAT/SAT and commissioning.
• Define operations sequences, process parameters, and quality plans; ensure ERP/MRP integration.
