Location: Hawthorne, NJ - Local Travel to Client Sites | Entry-Level Opportunity
Duration: 4+ months; 30-35 hours per week
Hourly Compensation: $22.00 - $24.50

A respected public accounting and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Assistant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional interested in developing a career in audit, financial reporting, and public accounting. The role offers hands‑on exposure to financial statement preparation, auditing procedures, and client engagement while working alongside experienced accounting professionals.

Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will support audit and accounting engagements for a diverse client base, including local educational institutions and public sector organizations. This position provides extensive training and mentorship, with increasing responsibility based on demonstrated performance and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
