Job summary

NYU Langone Health in Brooklyn seeks a Staff Audiologist (FGP) to provide full-spectrum diagnostic audiology testing and dispensing/fitting of hearing aid devices. The role includes charting, reporting, and communicating findings to physicians, and supervision of students and CFY within a cochlear implant team.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in audiology from an accredited program.
• Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• NY State Audiology License; NY State Hearing Aid Dispensing License preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum diagnostic audiology testing for referrals.
• Evaluate, fit, and dispense amplification devices; counsel on use.
• Document information in patient charts and prepare reports.
• Communicate findings to referring physicians and other staff.
• Supervise staff, students, and CFY; participate in cochlear implant team.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and department policies.
