Qualifications

We are currently seeking a staff attorney to join our M c Dermott Discovery Group to be based in Chicago, Washington, D.C., Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Miami or New York. The ideal candidate will have the background below.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years working in e-discovery, including substantial document review experience at all levels and phases of a project
• Substantial experience working with and leveraging Relativity and other e-discovery technology tools to better manage, organize, and review data
• Considerable experience in creating complex searches in Relativity and using searches to identify documents for use in fact development and preparation for depositions, motion practice and trial
• Substantial experience analyzing and applying legal principles concerning HIPAA and privilege doctrines to discovery objectives
• Experience managing multiple projects and working effectively within a deadline-driven environment
• Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills, whether working independently or as a team member

License/Certifications:

Must be admitted to practice in the state in which you reside and must be one of the cities identified in this job description.

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience working with TAR and other AI applications preferred but not required
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to completion
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively
• Positive client service, results-driven attitude

The estimated salary range for this position is $145,000-152,000. Actual salary is dependent on years of experience, technical background and billing rate.
