Job summary

Detroitjustice is looking for a full-time Staff Attorney in Detroit, Michigan to contribute to our Legal Services and Advocacy Practice. The role involves litigating civil liberties cases, advising clients on criminal law matters, and supporting movement lawyering efforts. Ideal candidates will have a J.D., be licensed in Michigan, and possess at least 4 years of litigation experience. The salary range is $85,000–90,000 with an array of benefits including health coverage and PTO. Applications review begins on May 4th.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan and in good standing.
• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with criminal defense or systemic reform preferred.
