Job summary

Young Life in North Central Washington (NCW YL) is seeking a Staff Associate I to support field ministry and leadership development in the Wenatchee area. You will participate in formal training and field ministry to learn how to carry out Young Life ministry effectively.

Core training includes new staff training, Leadership I–II, Apologetics, and winter training, with ongoing mentoring to develop personal spiritual maturity and ministry skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct ministry.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Spiritual Development — lead, mentor and disciple through prayer, church relationships and growth.
• Leadership Development — recruit and train leaders, build a ministry team.
• Resource Development — raise financial support and maintain donor relationships.
• Direct Ministry — plan and run Young Life clubs, Campaigners and camps.
• Ministry Support — follow Young Life policies, manage finances and maintain records.
