Job summary

Youth ministry organization Young Life seeks a Staff Associate I to learn, through formal training and field ministry, how to effectively carry out and manage Young Life ministry.

Through Spiritual Development, Leadership Development, and Resource Development, you will recruit volunteers, build teams, plan ministry strategies, and lead clubs and camps while raising donor support in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct ministry.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Ministry Functions: Spiritual Development — cultivate prayer, disciplines, fellowship and growth.
• Leadership Development — recruit/train leaders, build teams, cast vision.
• Resource Development — raise funds and engage donors, manage relationships.
• Direct Ministry — lead clubs, Campaigners and camps, model ministry.
• Plan/execute ministry strategy and annual goals with area leadership.
• Train leaders and volunteers to work effectively in teams.
• Support ministry operations, communications, and data management.
