Pay Range

This range is provided by Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $62,000.00/yr - $67,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Prevent, evaluate, treat, manage, and rehabilitate injuries related to varsity athletics.
• Perform administrative duties, including documentation and recordkeeping.
• Coordinate with medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to student-athletes.
• Assist with planning and scheduling medical coverage for athletic events.
• Support development and supervision of weight training programs.
• Supervise and educate graduate assistants and student trainers.
• Provide First Aid/CPR/AED training to staff and students.
• Assist with scheduling practice fields and serve as a Clery Campus Security Authority.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in collegiate athletic programs.
• Certification by NATABOC.
• Massachusetts licensure as an Athletic Trainer.
• Certified in First Aid/CPR/AED.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in strength and conditioning (e.g., CSCS).
• Master's degree in athletic training, kinesiology, or related field.
• Experience with athletic training software like SportsWare.
